  15. I bought a modem about two years ago with the Cal Com brand name. It looks like I 
  16. need a new PROM set to get the full function out of this 14400 baud unit but I can't 
  17. find the company. I have all of their documentation and it is generic -- no company 
  18. name, address, etc.

  20. The modem uses the UMC UM92144CF chip. I can't find these folks listed anywhere 
  21. either! Anyway, if anyone knows where I might contact either of these companies or 
  22. where I might find a PROM upgrade for this, please let me know.
